Nicholas Cornell wins Globe BowlBash Burnley qualification

July 15th and 16th, the third qualification of the ‘Globe BowlBash’ took place in the Interact skatepark in Burnley. Professional and amateur Skateboarders joined the contest with temperatures reaching up to 35 degrees Celsius outside the skatepark. A skateboarding audience went mad witnessing the highest level of skateboarding seen at a BowlBash in 2006 so far. > read more

Anders Tellen takes round two of the Globe BowlBash in Hamburg.

June 3rd and 4th, the second qualification of the ‘Globe BowlBash’ took place in the I-punkt skatepark in Hamburg. Professional and amateur Skateboarders, mainly from German and Dutch nationalities joined the Globe Bowlbash. A skateboarding audience went wild witnessing oververt carves and lip tricks on the 5 meter wide RedBull extension with pool coping. > read more

The way to Malmo

Blood sweat and tears went into the Bowlbash’s blown-up 3D constructed theme object. A huge sink plunger made out of metal gauze and plates that represents the way that Bowlbash was drawn from nothing onto something which now embodies throughout the years, the platform for an incredebly skilled youth with guts and character that together form one of the greatest contests that moves across europe today. > read story

Mattias Nylen wins the Globe BowlBash in Malmö!

May 13-14th the first Globe BowlBash Freakshow blew the minds of the crowd that gathered around Europe’s deepest pool situated in Malmö Sweden. Local organizer John Magnusson agreed that it was a heavy session and a convincing opening of the newly build Stapelbaddsparken. Skateboarders from all corners of the globe travelled to the south of Sweden to deflower the three-meter-deep concrete crater with vertical walls all around. > read more
