First show, Malmö, Sweden, May 13-14th

For the third year in a row the Globe BowlBash will unite Europe’s toughest bowl skateboarders, who push themselves to new heights in Europe’s most challenging skateboarding bowls. On May 13th and 14th the Globe BowlBash will travel to the South of Sweden for its first edition in the series of five events. The event will be held in the brand new ‘Stapelbaddsparken’ in Malmö and will be its grand opening. ‘Stapelbaddsparken’ is Europe’s largest and most remarkable concrete skatepark designed by Stefan Hauser, a respected designer known for his concrete works of art that he delivered with his company ‘Placed to Ride Inc.’

Sweden has a strong skateboarding scene. Together with skateboarders from all parts of the globe they will show what bowl skateboarding is about during the Globe BowlBash. The legendary punk rock formation ‘Henry Fiat Open’ will perform live, a film will be premiered followed by a party and at the park artists will create live art on blanc canvas. At each qualification event, the five most skilled skateboarders will qualify for the grand finals that will be held in the new Area51 skatepark in The Netherlands. All BowlBash qualifications are open for all skateboarders.

After Sweden the Globe BowlBash will visit:

Burnley UK, July 15-16th
Algorta Spain, August, 27-28th

The Globe BowlBash promises superhuman skateboarding acrobatics. But that is not all… Our producer already lost his grasp upon ‘reality’, completely on purpose! It’s time to escape the daily grind and release the freak within you. Nobody knows what this will lead to, but hey, there is only one way to find out.
