Prepare for the 3rd Globe BowlBash in Burnley UK, July 15-16th!
After a hectic kick-off in Malmö Sweden and a good follow up in Hamburg the ‘Globe BowlBash’ heads towards Burnley for the third show in the series of five. At the first event in Malmö a resounding pack of skateboarders lined up; men like Nicky Guerrero from Denmark, Sebastien Daurel from France, Enrico Petralia from Sweden and Jussi Korhonen from Finland. Matthias Nylen went off with the first price and qualified with the four others for the finals that will take place in The Netherlands in October. In Hamburg veterans like Anders Tellen and Daniel Beck stole the show.
July 15-16th the third Globe BowlBash qualification will put up tents at the Interact skatepark in Burnley. The Interact park covers Europe’s largest wooden bowl, with at the deep-end an extended-vert-corner. Saturday the 15th is a day of practice; the doors will be open from 11:00 till 23:00. Sunday the 16th, the BowlBash Freakshow starts at 13:00 and will be finished around 18:00hrs.
After Burnley the Globe BowlBash will visit:
Algorta Spain, August 27-28th
Grand Finals
Eindhoven The Netherlands, October 13-15th
The Globe BowlBash promises superhuman skateboarding acrobatics. But that is not all… The whole BowlBash crew lost grasp upon ‘reality’, completely on purpose! It’s time to escape the daily grind and release the freak within you. Nobody knows what this will lead to, but hey, there is only one way to find out.
See you in Burnley!
